Keystone K-109 8 mm Projector Repair
I am trying to repair my Dad's old Keystone K-109 8-mm film Projector and I am having problems removing the lower film sprocket and shaft. It appears the shaft is starting to seize and I want to remove it so I can clean and lubricate the shaft. This is the sprocket just below the projection lens.
Does anyone have a parts breakdown or a repair manual? OR does anyone have any experience with the Keystone K-109, or the K-108?
Thanks,
Rick

I am not familiar with what you have but if you want to clean the sprocket and shaft you might be able to do it without dismantling.
If you are able you could try spraying WD-40 onto shaft where it enters the bearing with a plastic nozzle that comes with the aerosol cans.
Just cover everything you can with rags to prevent the spray from getting where it shouldn't.
WD-40 does a good job of cleaning and will mostly evaporate.
Follow up with a drop of very light machine oil.
