keystroke inept

Hi. All I'm trying to do is copy a drawing that I scanned to the computer to a smaller size. originaly is was 9 x 11 and I want it to be downsized to 60% of the original. I am using HP printer software. duh.

Depends on which software you are using, but all photo editing software is capable of resizing images. Often it is a matter of deciphering the terms used by the individual program to denote the operation. You used the term "printer software" which may be the problem. It would be easiest with a photo editing software (which is usually included with HP stuff) although the printer software may be able to do the work.

Just opened my HP software (Photosmart Premier) it has an image resize function under "Edit", but there are two or three other HP programs in the same bundle that do not have a resize function.
