Thumbs up Welcome to our forum and a few links.

We look forward to all your questions relating to digital or film photography. (Those who don't know what film is ask your parents! ).

We value your questions on "how to..." or "what camera should I buy" and no question is too basic.
For those who leave their camera set to auto we can help turn the dials to help fix certain picture taking problems or to help expand your knowledge.

IMPORTANT: When asking questions please list the make and model of your camera.

Digital cameras have been developing along the same lines as computer and electronics in that within a particular price bracket the quality continually rises.
In other words if you spent $300.00 seven years ago, that three hundred dollars today will get you more than twice the camera.

IMPORTANT: When asking questions please list the make and model of your camera.

PIXresizer, a free and very simple image resizing program;
There are several out there like this but I find is the easiest to use.
You can either resize a single image or a whole folder.
You need not rename the resized image as it adds the new size in brackets after the original file name.

For anyone who tries macro photography the depth of field or area that is in focus is very narrow, often with only a very small portion of what you are photographing in focus.
CombineZP is fairly well rated free software that you use to sandwich multiple images of the same subject that are shot with different areas in focus to make a complete clear image.

IMPORTANT: When asking questions please list the make and model of your camera.
