Talking White balance

Hello everyone, I have recently started my adventure with Photoshop and would like to ask about ways of improving the picture quality when I photograph quite white things on white background. I am using normal white cloth as a bg but would like to have it pure white as a final effect. Any advice appreciated

Can you post an example? White on white? One way to do this would be to highlight the background in Photoshop using the "Magic Wand" function, then hit "Delete". This will remove all background and give you a blank space where it was. The only catch is that some of the edges around the object may not be as sharp.
