kingpins

I recently purchased a motor home from a man who built it in 1970 using a 1959 ford panel truck as a chassis. Instead of ball joints, it has kingpins, which are badly worn. I can't seem to find a shop willing to work on them. I am looking for some assistance on how to do them myself. Any information on replacing kingpins what so ever would be warmly welcomed. Thanx

you need quite a few special tools to replace and install the king pin bushings, it is not a do it yourself job in my opinion. how about trying a private medium to heavy duty truck garage to do it??? they should have the correct tools and should be willing to do it hope this helps
