Free play in steering

I have a 96 Chevy Silverado 4x4. I have noticed that I seem to have some excessive free play in my steering. I have taken the truck in for a front end alignment and had to have the idler arm replaced. This did take some of the free play out, but I was wondering if there is a way to adjust the steering box located in the engine compartment to take out some more of the free play.

Thanks in advance.

check to see if there is like a set screw in the top of the box with a nut ,loosing the nut and turn the screw in ........that would be my guess

What kind of shape are the bushings in? Most of the time when the box gets to this point its time to rebuild or replace it.
