Truck vs Wind
Hi,
I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota and have no problem with everday running around, however, I have noticed lately that when driving across Alligator Alley here in Fl., I feel like the truck is affected by the wind. It's a scary feeling when your going 70-75mph.
Does anyone know if this is common with small trucks or just the Dodge? I had new tires put on a month or so ago, could this be part of the problem? Is there any remedy to correct this blown away feeling?
Appreciate any advice.

Jo Ann,
It is common with ANY vehicle if the wind is strong enough.
The faster you drive, the lighter the vehicle is and has more trouble holding a line. Only suggestion is - slow down a bit on those excessively windy days.
