OIl Pressure in 2001 Chev Silverado

My oil pressure gauge moves from 20 (when idle) to 60 (on highway). Is this normal??? I have 35K miles on it and want to know if I need to bring it into the shop before my warranty expires.

Thanks for your help.

that is within the normal range and nothing really to be concerned about, however if you are worried about your readings you would want your oil pressure tested using a manual guage which is more accurate than your guage on the dash to determine if it is ok for sure.

That sounds about right, you should get a warning light if you are out of operating ranges.

Thanks for all your advice....just odd to see it move as I drive...my other GM vehicles do not do that.
