Fan switch sticks on Silverado

I have a 94 silverado and was wondering if these fan speed switches tend to stick when cold.
Anytime the temp gets cold outside the fan/defroster speed wont adjust for around 15 min or so,just stays where it was last set at.
Could this be a switch problem or a relay problem ?
Thanks for any help.

next time it happens you might look at the a/c indicator light or defroster indicator light if it has a button and see if it is flashing.

They should not stick, It sounds like it could be a worn switch.

No lights flashing.
All act normal.
The reason I wondered about the switch is because the orange off button right below the fan speed doesnt work at this time eigther unless these are both one switch?
Thanks for the replys

There is a cooling fan temp switch that could be the problem, or it could be the cooling fan relay. The temp switch should run to the fan relay with a dark green wire, the fan relay should run to the fan motor with a red wire. Just FYI the a/c switch piggybacks on the fan temp switch wire BEFORE it reaches the fan relay.
