1985 ford 2.8 problem?

i have a 1985 ford bronco 2 with 2.8 engine,i use it for driving back and forth to work, its about 15 k to work. the problem is
the runs great when its cold but by the time i almost get to
work the truck loses power, then i pull off on the side of the
road and it gets the power back,it take a few minutes. the more
i drive the truck the worst it getting, can't even drive around for
5 minutes.i took it to a machanic,he couldn't find the problem.

You may have a clogged catylitic converter.
Check your exhaust flow.
Hope that helps
