TO REPLACE THE BELLHOUSING ON THE S-10 IS A FAIRLY BIG JOB IF YOU ARE DOING IT ON THE GROUND.

YOU NEED TO PULL THE ENGINE OR THE MOTOR TO DO IT. iF YOU HAVE WORKING a/c I WOULD SUGGEST PULLING THE TRANS.

THERE ARE SIX BOLTS THAT HOLDS THE BELLHOUSEING TO THE MOTOR 2 (ON EACH SIDE) YOU CAN GET TO EASILY. THE OTHER FOUR ARE EXTREAMLY HARD. THEY ARE BEHIND THE DISTRITOR WHICH YOU GET TO FROM THE TOP. THEY ARE 3/8-16 BOLTS THAT YOU USE A 9/16 WRENCH TO GET TO.

IF YOU THINK YOU CAN ACCOLMISH THEM THE REST IS A CAKE WALK.

THE DRIVE SHAFT -- DISCONNECT AT THE REAR END.
LINKAGE --- THERE IS A SIMPLE PIN TO PULL ----IF MANUAL TAKE THE BOOT OFF INSIDE THE TRUCK, THERE IS A METAL COLLAR HOLDING IN THE SHIFTER GIVE IT A QUARTER TURN PUSHING DOWN ON THE COLLAR AND PULL THE SHIFTER OUT
WIRES-- THERE MAY BE A FEW( REVERSE, COMPUTER)

ONCE YOU GET THE TRANS OUT THERE ARE FOUR BOLTS YOU CAN SEE ON A MANUAL TRANS IF AUTO TAKE THE TORQE CONVERTER OFF AND YOU SHOULD SEE THEN

GOOD LUCK
