Tailgating

It's tailgate time and I recently bought an 800 watt dc to ac inverter. My idea is io connect the inverter to my 12 volt dc Jumpstarter and run crock pots and tv's.

The Jumpstarter is 400 amp/800 amp peak. Is there a way to calculate how long it will power an appliance, assuming perfect conditions with the Jumpstarter battery?

Thanks,

Sherm

You seriously can't run crockpots and tvs on a 400 watt inverter. To do what you suggest you will need to keep your engine running. You'd be wise to pick up a small generator for what you plan to do.
