Cylinder 5,7 does not fire properly

Why do my headers, on cylinder #'s 5, & 7, not get hot. And also my motor runs too rich all of my spark plugs are black.

first thing here :
check the spark plug wire make sure it is not cross fire :
did you engine do shake alot or a little ??
is your coolant level is same ( full)?
the other possiblity that on G.M. 454 (7.4 L) engine have one common curpit is blowen head gasket because of fireing order of the gm engine both 5 and 7 are close to each other and good change it did blew gasket .
the only way to is commpression check on the engine espcally watch #5 and #7 cylinders if both are very low then gasket is gone.
