94 class a motorhome 33' ford 460
Hello,
I have a Motorhome that recently had a "Jasper" transmission installed and after 500 miles I am told to get the fluid changed is this correct? Does it need a new filter also? Now I would have normally been able to do this but now disabled, is there a National chain that is good (trustworthy) to do this any info would be appreciated also what type oil should be used and weight? this is a 1994 ford 460 MH. 33'
Thanks in advance

I would like to know whos policy that is.On an engine I might be able to kind of justify a oil change that soon but not a trans.I don't think thats Jaspers policy but if it is do it to maintain the warranty.I overhaul trans all the time and don't ask the customer to do that. You should take it back to the place that installed the trans if it needs to be done to keep the warranty in effect. That way there are no questions or arguements.
