2000 Toyota Tundra - Parking Lights will not go off

This has started like a hair puller.

PU is a 2000 Tundra, V8, no tow package, entry cab

The only way I can get the parking lights (and instrument lights) to go off is to disconnect the battery. Problem started a few months ago, but would go off after using the remote to lock and unlock the doors several times. Now problem is solid.

Ignition key is removed.

I connect the battery, the lights stay off.

I turn on the parking lights (ONLY), and turn them off, the lights stay on.

I disconnect and re-connect the battery and the cycle repeats.

It does not seem to be a switch of relay, or they would be on when I re-connect the battery.

Any help would be appreciated. I location for a wiring diagram would be a great help. Also a diagram showing component locations.

Thanks very much.

Have you got the problem fixed yet? If not, my guess is the relay. See if you have another relay on the vehicle which is the same, and swap them.
