Choking F-150

I have a 2001 4.6 F-150 that I check the oil and air filter the other day. Since then the engine has been choking and the idiot light (Check Engine) is on. When I put the truck in reverse there there is a squeaking noise from the rear end. My mech. says my bearings are not loose. But it happens only in reverse.
HELP!

Sorry I have not gotten back to ya, but I have been on jury duty. So I checked all of the hoses and they fit tight and it runs a little smother. It still shakes a little at low speeds. And the spueaking is coming from the rear of the the truck when I put it in reverse.

Choking?

This might be a vacuum leak? Check the PCV valve hose the rubber boots seem to get holes in them?
