96 F-150 300 CID warm weather starting
#1

Hope someone knows the problem.I have a 96 Ford F-150 with a 300 CID and a 4 speed w/overdrive stick.During warm weather after the truck has warmed up it hard to start and when it does it acts like its either flooded or starved for gas for a minute or so the levels out.During the winter or cool weather I have no problems.Sometimes pumping the gas helps other times just letting it rough idle helps till the idle levels out.Hope someone can help me with this problem.

What is fuel pressure at this time? Should be 45-60 psi. Could be an (IAC) Idle Air Control Valve? Try holding the gas pedal open just a little. If it starts ok than it could be IAC valve. But try this several times.
