Engine Heater Suggestions

I have a 91 F150 that doesnt like the cold. It starts very hard in cold weather and im looking for a heater that would work the best on it. Its the 4.9L I-6 motor

any block heater would help but i would start with checking the coolent temp sensor for the computer sounds like it may be reading wrong temp causing the injector to give too much or not enough fuel you may need to bring it to a shop th have the data read to find out exactly what the temp it is showing

If your battery & starter & cables etc are all O.K. the only heater worth installing ( Im in northern Ont) is a block heater that fits into the frost (core hole) plugs of the engine block. My 1990 ranger will start when plugged in even when the mercury reads -40
