Changing back seat in van

During our last camping trip, we broke the back seat/bed in our '89 conversion van (don't ask) Since we have never used it as a bed, I was wondering if we could replace it with 2 captain's chairs instead. Is this possible? Would it be difficult? Anything I should be aware of before embarking on this endeavor?

TIA for any help y'all can provide

should be easy to do if you are drilling mounting holes for the seats through the floor just be aware of whats under the floor area you are drilling so you will not damage anything underneath the van such as gas tank.

if you do this Please make sure that the seats are secured in to somthing strucual with all the proper seat belts and safety equipment you dont need your pasengers hert in an accedent due to a seat that was improperly instaled and belting that could not hold have some one make some 4x4 inch plates at leat 1/4 inchthick with holes in the center to use as some support if you have to go through just the floor this would help a lot also make sure you use grade 8 bolts and hardware
