F150 5.8L P/U Transmission Problems??

My F150, with 200k miles, while sitting at a stop light surges when my foot is on the break every one once in a while? I was wondering if this was a early sign of my transmission slipping? I was planning on changing the transmission fluid and putting the Slick 50 Transmission additative as preventative caution. The other thing I notice if shifts hard from gear to gear or seems to stay in gear a little longer. The last time I change the tranny fluid may have been about 190k miles. Help!!!!

surging at idle at a stop is usually not an indication of transmission problems if it was really low on fluid it might slip in and out of gear but it would be more obvious when you took off from a stop that it wasnt in gear.
changing the fluid and filter is probably a good idea if it has been awhile hard shifting could be transmission or engine performance related problem hard to give you much more information without the year or knowing exactly what transmission your f150 has.
