Change the oil and filter but substitute one quart of ATF for one of the quarts of motor oil. Drive it about 300 miles or so and change the oil and filter again.

in the engine it wouldn’t mater what make it was as long as run time was not excessive stp and rislone would also work the Mechanics way is best for home use at the shop i use and for no longer than 5 min 1 liter of diesel fuel in the oil (use at own desecration)than change oil immediately 1 week late change oil again PLEASE USE CAUTION!!!

MARVEL MYSTERY OIL in the gas... it works to keep it from happening in the first place, put in in your crankcase with your other oil and it will help clean up the problems there too... the stuff flat out works!

there is a few oil additves that will usually free up a sticking lifter like rislone or marvel mystery oil that does not require you to change the oil a second time after putting in the additive you just run it for a normal interval.
the problem will likely reoccur unless you run the engine a little more often atleast start it up and let it get up to operating temp once a month when its not in use.
