95 Bronco, intermittent no start

Usually runs great, however, about 50% of the time about one minute after it is started in the morning the engine dies. It wont restart for 15 to 30 minutes. This problem does not usually recurr during the day, but if it sits unused for several hours it may. During the time it wont start there is no spark at all but it turns over fine. When it decides it is ready to go it then starts up no problem. I replaced the ignition switch but no help. The problem is obviously electrical but I have no idea what is causing it. Any ideas would be appreciated.
