heater core, mazda b2200(93)

I am having some troubles getting to the heater core in my 93 b2200. I have gone to the auto reckers to get an old core for cheap, but I couldn't get the heater out of the truck. What do I have to do? Does it involve taking off the whole dash to get to the heater? I got a haynes manuel, but it seems as though they are missing a step. Anyhow, there is something that I am just not getting. I live in Canada and it is not much fun driving around here without heat in the winter. Please help!
Thanks!

i havent dune a b2200 core that i can remember but i just took a quick look in my data refrence and i says the whole dash unit must be removed if you do not have much expereance with such repairs i sugest going to a shop also it is not a good idea to get a core used after so meny years it may not last long dont cheep out on a repair that is so time inensive time calls for aprox 5.5 hours if you know what to do that would be a lot of time wasted if the core is no good the wrecker can not verify if it is or not new core a carquest is aprox 220.00 (can) its a lot but at least your sure to stay warm and no worry that 2 weaks from now you have to do it again

The three B's. Thanks for that one. I had a good laugh-out-loud moment. It sums up my entire relationship with that truck. Thanks for the advice, I very much appreciate it.
