'91 Sonoma Throttle Valve Cable

I've got a '91 GMC Sonoma P/U, 4.3V6, 4WD that needs a new throttle valve cable (runs from the throttle plate to the tranny). Looks like any easy job at the throttle end, but I don't know about the tranny end. Where does the cable enter the tranny? Whats involved with removing the old cable and installing the new?

Any advice is appreciated,
thanks, wingnut

its locoted on the passenger side above the pan toward the front attached with a 10 mm bolt my suggestion is have the new one down beside the old one take the bolt out pull on the plastic removing it from the trans pull the cable it will be opening the valve so it will have resistance there will be a connector hooking into the cable unhook and hook in the new one
