toyota body lift

i am going to be putting a 3 in body lift on a 85 toyota pickup ive got a kit for this specific model, but my concerns are the steering shaft and the stick shift, the kit dosent have anything to extend them ,not sure if the coupler on the steering has enough slack to allow for this, the stick wouldnt be a big problem to modify, but i want to make sure the steering is right, never done a lift before any input is appreciated

Is there a reason you are using a body lift instead of a suspension lift? Either one will have there own set of obstacles but IMO a suspension lift works better.

It shouldn't be too hard to lengthen the steering shaft if needed.
