RV water heater: electric: tank, or tankless?
I want to purchase an electric RV type tank, or tankless, water heater, not for an RV, but for my garage. I don't want a gas water heater, has to be electric. Thought that someone here might be able to give me some advice as to what kind and where I might find one. It's gonna heat water, mainly for washing my hands, in the garage. Is there one that you've had luck with in your RV? Thanks in advance!

Unless space is the main concern you will likely find that the most cost effective route is to buy a small household water heater. The RV units will likely cost you more unless you buy used or salvage or something. You can buy a gas/electric RV type water heater and just not hook up the gas side. A search for RV salvage might get you some hits in your area.
Cost new will likely run a couple hundered dollars for an RV type water heater.. You should be able to find a 20 gallon electric household type for far less.
