ice maker

as far as i can tell mike, it is just a black rubber or plastic tube that come out at the bottom of a selonoid that the water comes from filter at the top. i thought the black tube just might be loose but i could not see without taking it off and turning selonid upside down. it sets just inside the access door to the fridge and black tube runs up the back and it is my guess goes directly into the fill of the ice maker. if i can replace it myself i would but i don,t know the hazzards if any

Having an RV tech background, I am picturing an RV style fridge. Do you possibly have a make & model on this unit? It may help me visualize it. I know on RV fridges, a few hidden screws in the front, and a couple in the back (outside at vent) at the bottom, and you can slide that thing out to get a look at what your doing. I guess my main concern is if there is propane hook-up etc.
