Question Problem electrical

I have a 1997 motorhome with triton v10 engine. The temp gauge goes to the high reading when the ignition is turned on. The happens when the motor haves not been tunred on for a couple of days. I replace the sensor on the manifold and it still does it. When the sensor is not plugged into the wire harness it still goes to the high position on the gauge. There is 11.5 volts comming from the wire harness. I think the wire is grounding out someplace.

Cool heater control problems

I have a 1988 toyota camry le with electronic heater control. The heat works intermitently and very unpredictable. I have checked the contol unit and found no problems with it. I am wondering if there is a remote sensor or some such thing as that in the car somewhere. I do not think it is the engine thermostat. Please help me on this for it is cold to drive with out heat.

thank you
