Dodge Ram 1500 2004

Does any one know what it means when message on the control panel flashes lamps out but my headlights are on and there doesnt seem to be any other lights out I made the mistake of buying the truck with out an owners manual and I have never owned a dodge before so if anyone can help thanks

Check your brake lights and tail lights.

Thanks but all my lights are working the way they should. Any other thoughts?

Youmay have a code that was never cleared from a problem the previous owner had.

How can I reset the code if there is one? Im sorry dont know much about cars.

You might try disconnecting the battery for a minute ,or so. Autozone might be able to reset it for you,or a Dodge dealer($$$).
Hopefully some others will add their suggestions here to.

Smile owners manual

Buy a book...Either the original owners manual or at least a chilton or mitchell. Since I always buy General Motors vehicles...I get my books from HELM, it cost me $100 but like I said in another post, I had a bad ECM and that is what the book said.
