96 chev 1500 code 154

96 chev 1500 code 154

I have a 96 chev pickup and I'm getting a code 154 and code 1153,, what can cause this? the book shows o2 sensors bank 1 sensor 1, bank 1 sensor 2 and bank 1 sensor 3 and bank 2 sensor 1,,,, I'm confused my truck only has one sensor on the drivers side and three on the passenger side I was told bank 1 was on the drivers side which wolud be bank 2 sensor 1??

There are a number of things that can set these codes off.

1) Bad MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) -attached to your intake tube

2) Bad fuel

3) Leak in your exhaust up stream from the O2 sensors

4) Bad oil
