94 chev1/2 ton Starting probs

last few days when i go to start truck it fires right up then dies in seconds will keep doing this for about 10 tries when i step on gas pedal it will rev up then die,sometimes if i pump pedal it will rev then slow down then rev again then die after about 10 tries it seems to run okay Any ideas?? fuel pump,filter and electronic ignition were all changed about a year ago

is a check engen lamp on ?if so you should find out what the codes are posible cause could be dirty throtal body and idel motor if this is throtal body injection than also check to see if throtal body is tight and there are no vacuume leaks

It sounds heat related because when cold it acts up and when it gets warmed up it works good. That is my understanding.
Fuel injection does not have a choke but it does have temperature sender to the computer that is separate of the gauge sender.
I believe it is the one directly behind the thermostat housing.
For the cost of that sender, I would give that a shot.

I would check the regulator on the fuel rail first. It sounds like it could be losing pressure and allowing the system to bleed back toward the tank.
