My nephew has a 1993 GMC Sierra with an auto trans behing a 6cyl. It seems to be intermittent but the tranny won't shift up all the time sometimes it works fine but other times it will hang in 2nd gear. Do these have a vaccuum modulator? Any ideas??

I have another question for you pros. 1998 Chevy 1/2 ton ext. cab 4x4. My fuel gage needle vibrates really, really fast. It is at all times until it gets to below 1/4 tank. We had a new pump put in under warranty about 6 years ago. When I bought the truck off lease they put a standard cluster in it. It was a Canada truck the read in KM. Any ideas???
