2003 dodge 1500 how to remove oil pan
I have all bolts removed and the oil pan only drops down about an inch.looks like the windage tray is holding it but how is the tray connected to the oil pan?Even pryed on pan but won't come down past that on inch.

1500 what van or pick-up?? if pick-up than it depends on engine if it is a 3.7 engine needs to be completly removed if 5.7-5.9 than engine needs to be lifted from mounts high enough to clear watch fan and intake do not hit if thay do than they need to be removed i also beleave the cross member needs removing good luck not reely a drive way job but it can be done
