Trailer Lights???

Trailer Lights???

My 97 dodge dakota does'nt have a trailer hookup...
Where can I get one, and how do I do it??

It's easy bit you may be better off just taking it to your local U-Haul they're pretty good hooking up your trailering kits and stuff
There's 2 ways to do it the basic one will have a 4 wire harness just for lights, the other one will set-up a 7 pin connector, male at the truck female on your trailer, more complete than the other one because it allows for trailer electric brakes and batt feed .
If trailer is more than 3K #'s consider getting the brake set up ...

etrailers.com has everything you need, or a tractor supply, atwoods, etc, several companies make harness to install without cutting or splicing wires, whaterver you do don't use scotch lock splices (can you say corrosion) if you read etrailers.com electrical it has a great deal of info for free on wireing and trouble shooting. Plus wireing diagrams,color codes, connectors, and tools.
