89 ford van died...
I own a 89 ford van. straight six. While driving on the freeway it just died. It cranks but no spark. Please help.

no spark could be any number of things start by checking fuses also check if you have power at the coil also check remove dist. cap and make sure rotor turns let us know the results

I was soo right to buy a Nissan Pathfinder 1988 , its swas got 4 wheel drive and soo manu stsuffs and u know what i have been using it for soo many as 5 years now and going on short time camping with my family is soo smooth with this - it never gave any serivicing problems - except the tire puncture !!!

I think Ford uses an ignition module on the distrubtor It's an black box with some wires coming out, it might be fried inside. Maybe stop at a junk yard and get one, RockAuto shows a new one costs about $65.
