Hardwood floor in Motor home

We have a 43' Newmar Mountain Aire with carpet in the living area and bedroom. We have purchased vertical bamboo hardwood to replace the carpet. We have spoken with several people, including service personnel and the manufacturer. We have a variety of installment methods. We have been told to glue only, glue and nail, and nail only. With the flexing that occurs, we would like to seek the advice of an expert.

Thank you in advance.

Monaco Coach, Holiday Rambler, used to use silicone as an adhesive, thus you have adhesion & flexibility. Can't say for sure if they still do, but it appeared to work well when I serviced them a few years back. Personally if you want better adhesion than silicone, but same or better flex, I'd choose "Sikaflex". ( http://www.sika.ca/ind/ind-trans/ind...floor_bond.htm )

Hardwood in Motorhome

Thank you so very much. I have gone to the website you included and will try to find where I can purchase the sealant.
