winterizing a travel trailer

Smile winterizing a travel trailer

how do you winterize a travel trailer? The dealer does is for $50.00 - but of course we have to drive an hour to get to the dealer.

Questions, do you have a by-pass on your water heater? Do you have a fitting & piece of hose to run to your pump, suction side? Does it maybe have a winterizing kit already on it? While waiting to answer, drain your water heater now, just in case. Look underneath for water lines sticking down,(lowpoint drain lines) & potable tank drain. if so, undo/open them and let them drain. Open taps inside to allow for better draining.
