2002 Ford F-150 V6 clutch problem

Funny that I have never had a problem with the clutch... worked fine when I parked it last night... but this morning when I first started the truck, the clutch felt like it had no resistance when I pushed it down... and it lets out RIGHT AWAY as you lift your foot off the floor. It used to come up several inches as you slowly let your foot off the clutch. Now there is no "slowly" about it.

Any ideas where to start looking? For your benefit, I know NOTHING about clutches.

It's a hydraulic clutch. Check fluid level in master cylinder for clutch, & fill to proper level with brake fluid. If not sure where/which is master cylinder for clutch. follow hydraulic line back from transmission to it.
