necessary service
I have a 2002 Ford F250 4x4 diesel powerstroke. It has 100,000 miles on it. I change oil every 3000 to 5000. It runs good. Question. What service should be done at this point? Hoses? Timing belt? Transmission? I am planning a trip this fall and pulling a travel trailer, so I would like to do what's right. Thank you.

Not sure about the powerstrokes, but Cummins doesn't want to see you for 100k miles. As a matter of practicality, however, I would definitely change the serpentine belt (doubt you have a timing belt), check all the hoses and if any show signs of leaking or softness, change them all (they are the same age). If the transmission is automatic, it is always good to have the fluid and filter changed in it, especially after this mileage. You say you have the oil changed, how about the air filter, cabin filter, fuel filter? Good time to do it.
