2003 Ford F150 Belt Tensioner

I need to replace the tensioner on my truck (6 cyl.). Is this a difficult job or is it a straight forward bolt on installation? Other then the usual sockets and breaker bar for detensioning, are there any special tools required?
i'm trying to decide if I should do it myself or just bite the bullet and pay someone to do it for me. Thanks for your help.

I don't remember the last time I wrestled a Ford RWD tensioner, but I would be surprised if it was hard at all. Lots of room as compared to a front wheel drive; once you get the belt off it should be a one bolt or nut mounting. The tensioner is generally prevented from rotating on the mount by a little nub or pin that mates with a hole on the mounting bracket. Should be able to find instructions and diagram on autozone.com.
