Exhaust Mating Surface gap Sealing ideas?

99 5.7L Silverado

The converter mates to the muffler with 3 bolts and of course the gasket

However, the converter mating surface looks warped
And when the Converter/ muffler are bolted together, You can actually wiggle the gasket around in the warped area

how could you seal this area??

tin- wouldnt there be a heat issue
Permatex high temp silicone-wouldn't there be a heat issue as well
***edit
slice of bread- we know that will not work

replacement converters- too costly ~$390 after tax

I would get out the grinder and flatten the warped surface. As for sealers furnace cement might work or JB Weld.
