Welcome to the forums! Are you shimming the starter properly so it will attack the flywheel at the proper angle. "Exploded" doesn't say much. EXactly what happened to the starter?

starter dive gear is gone its in little pieces cant look in to see if its matching up and there where no shims when i took it off

It sounds as if your bendix is not throwing the drive gears far enough into the flywheel area for a complete engagement. I know you already have, but make double sure the starter is matched to your truck. No modifications that you know of, right??

Have you ruled out a defective ignition switch? If the switch is defective it could be causing the starter to stay engaged longer than necessary? Visit the link below.
