Unhappy Hilka 2t trolley jack

Hi. sorry if i have posted in wrong thread.
I have a 2t trolley jack, and the small spring clip that pushes the small piston down and lifts it back up has gone a miss, This is situated under the jack handle, and a pin goes through the spring clip that crabs onto this small piston to pump the jack.I am trying to locate this clip. Been on to Hilka, but wont sell spares, as it is there safety policy.

regards Bill

Hi Bill,

Since this is a mostly US and North American site, I doubt we can be much help. You might contact a local company that does service and repairs of hydraulic pallet jacks and similar equipment for warehouses.

Spring clip could mean a lot of different things.
E ring, or snap ring come to mind.
Any chance there's a local hardware type store near by?

I knew it was a car jack, I was just suggesting a company that might help.
