Truck will not start
My truck:
1995 Ford F-150
4.9 liter, 6-cylinder
Manual transmission
My truck will not start. When I turn the key, it only clicks. It does not turn over.
This I know:
Battery: Checked at NAPA and WalMart. Both places said it has no bad cells, and is strong.
Starter: replaced (I returned this part to have it inspected, but it was ok)
Solenoid: replaced
Battery cable: replaced
Ignition switch: replaced
Battery ground: not loose
Oil level: OK, and new
Radiator coolant: Level good
Fuses: All check out ok
Am I missing something? Do you know what could be causing this?

What is clicking? The solenoid? With assistance, check the voltage from the starter side of the solenoid to a good ground when the switch is activated. Did you actually install a new starter? You said it was returned, so there is a little confusion.

Thanks for your quick response to my issue!
The starter is clicking as it tries to engage and spin the flywheel. I purchased a re-built starter from NAPA and installed it. After I installed the replacement starter and it still would not start, I removed the unit from the Ford and took it back to NAPA to have it tested in case I had bought a bad starter. It checked out ok, so I took it back and put it back on the truck. I have not checked the voltage from the starter side of the solenoid.

Just guessing, but if you are getting full voltage to the starter, (1) vapor lock or (2) starter and flywheel are not meshed properly. Have you tried rocking the truck or push starting it?
