It's a swap. Should come with a new gasket.

But have you tested the existing one with a multimeter to see if it's really bad? I wasted $90 replacing mine a while back, thinking it was the source of my idle problems. Learned my lesson there. Now I do my homework first.

The idle air control valve generally comes with a new gasket. If not, you can either get one or make one.

My f150 is a little newer than yours, so it has rubber gaskets, not paper ones.
