1999 Toyota Tacoma audio system

Really dumb question here: Just picked up a nice 1999 Taco 2WD Xtra Cab. The audio system has (allegedly) both a tape player and a CD player. But for the life of me, I can't figure out where I would insert a CD! I see no slot anywhere. The owner's manual is no help. Can anybody help an old guy out here?

If it has a disc player it's usually a slot at the top. Look at the control buttons on the radio. Do ANY of the buttons say CD or have CD functions on them ?

I looked at the manual, and their diagram was sorely lacking any detail.

Is there a a CD and eject button? It may have a little faceplate that opens when CD is selected. A picture would be much better than just looking at the manual.

Broke down and went to the dealer as what I have doesn't match anything in the owner's manual. The unit is labeled for CDs and has various buttons related to them, but in fact has no CD player. Apparently it's some sort of "interim" design done when CDs were first coming on the scene.

Oh...probably for a remote changer under the seat or something. Put 6 disks in a cartridge and load it in.

I put one of those in a car a couple of wifes ago.
