1999 F-150 engine stalls when I press brake

I have a 1999 F150 4.6L engine. When I press my brake hard my engine tries to die on me. I was told it was the booster so I had it replaced but my problem did not go away. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

You didn't give enough information.
Is it automatic trans with a lockup torque converter? If so the torque converter may not be unlocking as designed.

Yes it is an automatic transmission. Not sure about the lockup torque converter. I'll try to find out. Thanks for your response.

This happens standing still with tranny in Park or driving? If stationery in Park, takes t/c out of the equation. Have to say, my first thought was the brake booster, too.
