F250 brake system question

Does the brake fluid in the individual lines to the four wheels circulate back to the master cylinder or does it stay there forever unless it leaks out or is flushed?

Thanks.

Technically..... it doesn't circulate but it does go back and forth. Water and rust get moved thru the brake lines every time the brake pedal is pressed. The brake lines need to be flushed to get rid of water and rust.
