Water heater Repair?

My water heater on my travel trailer works on electric but does not work on propane. It is supposed to autolight but does not spark when turned on. I did light it manually but it went out. Seems like the spark/sensor doesnít work. I tested all grounds and to see if it has voltage and all is good. I tested if the spark igniter worked and it doesnít send any voltage when it is supposed to be lighting. Iím pretty sure it is the control board as everything checks out except there is no spark or sensing that it is burning. I donít want to buy a control board as they are $140. Is there a way I could wire it myself that it would stay lit but when it heats up it would turn off automatically with the thermostat and not try to start again? I just need it to heat up enough for one hot shower. I found a way to make it stay lit up but it would never turn off and if the flame went out it would keep putting out propane. I just want to know if there is a way that i could light it manually and it would heat up till the thermostat would turn it off and it would stay off.

i found the wiring diagram in the manual but I canít figure out how to post it.

There are multiple 12v sources coming in. Are they all live ?
Is that the exact board you have.... same exact part number ?
You cannot operate a water heater on a bypassed control board.
