Hazard/Flasher Relay
I have a 1999 Dodge Dakota . I am trying to put in a new turn signal relay. The old one is kind of tight, I don't know if it's suppose to be that tight but I don't want to yank on it too hard. Any suggestions?

Google "1999 Dodge Dakota turn signal relay" parts sites will pop up then you should be able to take a look at the relay.
I did this but was not sure about your vehicle specifics but the relay looks like it just pulls out.
If you can hold the receptacles and wiggle the relay a bit side to side while pulling on it.
Also make sure there is not a hod down wire across the top.

Not having much luck getting this thing out. Can not get a good grip on it. Would a pair of pliers work?

I've never had a problem changing any flasher module.
There are several different flashers listed as well as locations for your vehicle. Please post a picture of the flasher where it's located. If you can't do that..... post a picture of the flasher or at least its part number.

Can't get the image to load, however, if I type, picture of 1999 Dodge Dakota hazard flasher relay diagram it shows the one I have on a fixya.com image. It also shows to the side a picture of a green relay that looks like mine.
Original # on the one I have is 3398A1 but I have found a Novita EP27 which will work.

Success! I used a pair of channel lock pliers to yank it out. Picked up the EP27 at local parts store and it solved the problem.
Thanks to all for their input.
